This is what 21 weeks pregnant with 2 kids after working 13 hours looks like :)

What's New: We have begun the process of redecorating Peyton and Eliza's room. Once they are moved in together, we will redo Peyton's room as the nursery! Progress...at least pretending that this baby is coming!

What's Old: Feeling super fatigued again lately....I think it's just the busy holiday season + pregnancy

Baby: Endive (?) Weighing about 12.7 oz and 10.5 inches long

Cravings: Christmas cookies :)

Ready or Not...

We are super excited to announce that our family is growing!

We thought Halloween was a perfect time to reveal our big news because it's such a special and fun time for us!

Due Date: April 21, 2018

Gender: You should know me better by now...of course we aren't finding out!

Nickname: BB3

So far, I've been exhausted and slightly queasy, but I definitely blame this on being busy with 2 other kiddos! We are out of the first trimester, so hopefully I will be feeling better soon :)
The kiddos are super excited, and starting to ask lots of questions.

Eliza goes to School

10:18 AM 0 Comments
It's little sister's turn to head off to school!
Eliza is attending the same church preschool that Peyton went to- we just love the program and all of the teachers!

Meeting Miss Kila at Open House!

Because Eliza still has some separation anxiety, I was totally prepared for a dramatic first day of school. E totally surprised us as she hopped out of the car and ran inside! I sure hope it stays that way this year!

Off she goes!

I hope her teachers are ready for this sass ;)

It's hard to believe my baby is big enough for school! Reach high, Boo!

Boot Camp for New Moms

8:46 PM 0 Comments
Hey y'all!

I am so excited to announce the launch of our new perinatal education class: Boot Camp for New Moms! This class was inspired by its "brother" class Boot Camp for New Dads, facilitated by my very own hubs :)

Boot Camp is not an exercise class, or a course on infant care; it is a discussion-based workshop for parents-to-be to join experienced parents and their babies to learn about life as a new family.

In Mommy Boot Camp, we focus on topics like breastfeeding, comforting techniques, male bonding timeline, and going back to work. The workshop is a judgement-free zone where rookie moms can ask veteran moms about their experiences as a new Mom.

My co-facilitator... I just adore this lady!

Here are some upcoming classes at my hospital- let your Mom-to-be friends know!

Kindergarten: Here We Come

2:19 PM 0 Comments
Oh... I have been so naive in thinking this day would never come. My sweet P is off to Kindergarten and this Momma is a complete wreck. Why is it that we have such trouble letting go? I know P is more than ready, but it's hard to imagine her navigating through her day ALL by herself!

Of course, we read "The Night Before Kindergarten" at bedtime. And I could barely make it through.

I hosted a "Mommies and Mimosas" gathering afterwards so we could all cry together...and have an excuse to drink at 7:30am! I think it's going to be a GREAT year for Peyton. I can't wait to see her blossom. Go Colts!

Peyton's 5th Birthday

1:10 PM 0 Comments
I cannot even believe my first baby is already 5 years old! It truly seems like yesterday that Ben and I found out we were going to be parents. The last five years has been a most rewarding, challenging, and precious time!

Peyton woke up to balloons and streamers decorating her room, then we headed to Dunkin Donuts for our traditional birthday donut.

Happy Birthday Junebug!

Four years of birthday donuts!

Afterwards, we spent the day at The Georgia Aquarium! Did you know admission is free on your birthday?!

Wiped out!

So excited to open her birthday present- a bounce house!

We continued the celebration that weekend with a ballerina birthday party for our girl. The local Rec Center and Miss Sandy did a fantastic job! The party guests enjoyed dress up, games, and a little dance lesson. And of course, a fancy "tea party" because this Momma just needed a hand in something.

We just love our friends!

Peyton, you are the most generous, caring, strong-willed, and intelligent child I know! Every day with you is a blessing, and I am so lucky to be your Mother. You were born a true leader...Shine on, my girl!
